Purnomo has been advising clients on intellectual property issues for more than 10 years. He is a registered IP Consultant with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, a licensed Advocate with PERADI (Indonesian Bar Association), and a registered mediator with the Indonesia Mediation Center (PMN).  His studies at Atma Jaya Catholic University focused on economic law. Purnomo has an excellent network of contacts with enforcement authorities, which he leverages to achieve results for his clients.  His expertise in IP enforcement is recognized by independent surveys such as the Legal500, and Managing Intellectual Property magazine selected him as an ´IP Star´ in its World IP Survey 2014.

Before joining SKC Law, Purnomo was the head of the enforcement division at a UK law firm. There he gained invaluable experience in intellectual property protection and enforcement, including in conducting criminal raids with various levels of police authorities, and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges that foreign clients face navigating the Indonesian legal system.  Clients appreciate Purnomo’s straightforward and practical advice, his thorough understanding of compliance obligations, and his ability to formulate effective enforcement strategies.

Purnomo consistently receives positive feedback from a wide variety of clients from North America, Europe, and Asia.  He still handles criminal raids directly and enjoys traveling all over Indonesia with his work.  Clients that join him on raids are always impressed with his culinary recommendations!  He is a fanatic football fan, movie-lover and a karaoke champion.

Nidya’s practice experience in both corporate and intellectual property specialist law firms makes her ideally placed to advice clients on the protection and commercialization of intellectual property rights. She has represented clients from various industries, on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Nidya obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Indonesia, and started her career in a reputable corporate law firm with a foreign affiliation.  She then joined a UK-based IP law firm, where she gained first-hand experience dealing with international and local clients on various IP transactions. She is a registered IP Consultant with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, a licensed Advocate with PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association), and a registered mediator (PMN, National Mediation Center).

Nidya has acted for a range of clients, ranging from blue-chip companies to SMEs.  She is known for her ability to provide practical and responsive advice.  She speaks fluent English, and understands what issues need to be brought to the attention of clients unfamiliar with doing business in Indonesia. Nidya manages our IP Prosecution Team, and has special interests in IP Litigation, IP Commercialization and regulatory affairs. Her expertise in IP prosecution is recognized by independent surveys such as the Legal500, and the World Trademark Review 2014 where she is recognised as a "master brand protection strategist who helms the prosecution and regulatory affairs department" and Managing Intellectual Property magazine selected her as an ´IP Star´ in its World IP Survey 2014.

Nidya is a member of the Indonesian Intellectual Property Society (IIPS), Asosiasi Konsultan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (AKHKI) and Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA). She is a music and dance lover, and during her leisure time enjoys outdoor sport activities.

Andrew is uniquely qualified to advise foreign clients on Indonesian intellectual property issues.  He speaks Bahasa Indonesia fluently, and has completed advanced-level Indonesian studies.  His tertiary studies in law included a masters in intellectual property and dispute resolution, and contentious intellectual property law is the focus of his practice.  He is a registered Foreign Advocate (PERADI, Indonesia), a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Australia), a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, and a registered Indonesian mediator (PMN, Nasional Mediation Center).  His past practice experience includes litigation and advisory work in the dispute resolution team of a top-tier Australian firm, and advising on the prosecution, litigation and enforcement of intellectual property rights at a top-tier UK IP firm.  At SKC Law Andrew advises foreign clients on all aspects of intellectual property in Indonesia.
